Before any treatment gets underway I need to accurately identify the type of pest you have. In most cases, it is relatively easy to determine the pest as each and every pest leaves tell-tale signs. My knowledge of all of the UK common pests helps here too!

However, in some cases – such as insects- it can be a little harder to identify a species… especially by yourself. This is because they are much smaller in size and usually act in similar ways to each other.

Without fully knowing what is being treated, it is almost impossible to prescribe the right course of DIY action or solution. Some over the counter treatments can actually aggravate the problem, as opposed to fix it. Not to mention toxic chemicals, if not handled correctly, pose a threat to you and you your loved ones – including pets. This is why you need to call in a professional!
